According to a recent story by the White House, First Lady Michelle Obama joined with U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Tom Vilsack in announcing new proposed guidelines for local school wellness programs. This means that all advertising would have to be focused on healthy snacks such as yogurt and even fruit snacks, compared to chocolates and ice cream that are lined up in your typical freezers.
This initiative would also eliminate some of the advertising that you see on some of your favorite vending machines and could pave the road for healthier options in [link id=”10″ title=”New Jersey Vending Services”]New Jersey vending machines[/link] in the future. Lately we have seen alternative vending options include salads and even tomatoes popping up and it’s only a matter of time before they start to how up in schools.
